USING OPENSKOOL

Terms made understandable.

The ground rules for using OpenSkool content, services and Programs.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By using the OpenSkool website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Additional terms may apply to a specific Program or future service and will be presented with that offering.

Educational purpose

OpenSkool publishes educational and thought-leadership material and runs learning Programs. Content is intended to help people explore ideas and develop their own judgement. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.

Examples, frameworks and opinions may not fit every context. You remain responsible for decisions you make and for checking information that matters to those decisions.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when you submit a form or register for a Program.
  • Use the site lawfully and respect other participants, contributors and their privacy.
  • Do not interfere with the site, test its security without permission, introduce harmful code or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not scrape, reproduce or redistribute substantial parts of the service in a way that harms OpenSkool or the rights of others.
  • Do not impersonate another person, send spam or use OpenSkool to promote illegal or harmful activity.

Content and intellectual property

The website, its original writing, visual design, branding and Program materials are owned by OpenSkool or used with permission. You may read, link to and make reasonable personal use of published material. Any broader copying, adaptation, commercial reuse or redistribution requires the relevant rights holder's permission unless applicable law allows it.

Third-party names, quotations and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners. Please credit OpenSkool when sharing a permitted excerpt or link.

Programs

Program registrations are also governed by the Program Terms and any details shown on the relevant Program page. Availability, format, schedule, price and inclusions are those stated for that Program and may change when reasonably necessary.

Reasonable limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, OpenSkool provides the site and its educational material without guarantees that every item will be complete, current or suitable for a particular decision. OpenSkool is not responsible for losses caused by relying on content without appropriate verification or professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific governing-law and dispute terms require owner and legal review before commercial scale.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as OpenSkool develops. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their published date.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
