Our accessibility goal

OpenSkool aims to make its website and learning experiences usable by a broad audience across devices and ways of navigating. Accessibility is an ongoing product and editorial responsibility, not a one-time claim.

OpenSkool does not currently claim formal accessibility certification or complete conformance with a particular standard.

Principles reflected in the current website

• Semantic page structure with descriptive headings and one primary heading per page.
• Keyboard-visible focus styles and a skip link to the main content.
• Responsive layouts intended to remain readable on phones, tablets and larger screens.
• Labels, validation messages and status feedback for current forms.
• Reduced-motion support for people who request it in their device settings.
• Plain language, readable content widths and descriptive links where practical.

Known limits and ongoing work

Technology, content and third-party services can create barriers we have not yet identified. Future learning tools, media and community features will need accessibility review as they are introduced.
