Registration and confirmation

Submit accurate registration information and use an email address you can access. A registration is confirmed only when OpenSkool sends a confirmation. Registration does not create an OpenSkool account or subscribe you to the newsletter.

Places may be limited. OpenSkool may decline or cancel a registration where information is false, capacity is reached, or participation would create a safety, conduct or operational concern.

Free and paid Programs

The Program page states whether the current offering is free or paid. OpenSkool currently accepts registrations for a sponsored Program at no participant cost. Future paid Programs will show their price and specific payment, cancellation and refund terms before registration or purchase.

Schedules, trainers and availability

Program dates, times, format, capacity and trainer information are shown on the Program page or in later Program communications. OpenSkool may reschedule a session, change its format or substitute a trainer when reasonably necessary. Participants will be told through the contact details they provided.

If a Program cannot proceed, OpenSkool may cancel it. The Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the current approach for free Programs and the framework for future paid offerings.

Joining details and attendance

Joining instructions are sent to the registered email address. You are responsible for checking the details, using compatible equipment and joining on time. Access links are for the registered participant and should not be shared unless OpenSkool permits it.

Attendance or completion is not guaranteed by registration. A certificate is available only when a Program page or confirmation explicitly says one is offered and states any conditions.

Participation and conduct

Participate respectfully, protect other people's privacy and follow the Community Guidelines. OpenSkool may moderate a session or remove someone whose conduct is seriously disruptive, unsafe, unlawful or harmful to others.

Materials, recordings and intellectual property

Program materials are for the participant's personal learning unless the Program says otherwise. Do not reproduce, sell, publish or distribute them without permission.

Participants must not record a session or other participants without express permission. If OpenSkool plans to record a Program, the recording arrangements and any required choices will be communicated separately; no recording practice is implied by these terms.

Program communications and participant responsibility

OpenSkool may use the registration details you provide to send confirmations, joining information, reminders and material changes concerning that Program. These operational messages are separate from newsletter marketing.

Program content is educational. You remain responsible for how you apply it and for seeking appropriate professional advice where a decision has significant consequences.
