Cookies are small pieces of data a website or service can store in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage, pixels and tags, can remember settings or measure how a service is used.

How OpenSkool currently uses tracking technology

OpenSkool uses Google Tag Manager across the website to manage measurement tags. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool; the tags configured through it may collect interaction and technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies.

The current OpenSkool application code does not intentionally set a cookie for reading content or submitting its forms. Hosting and security services still process the network requests needed to deliver and protect the site. We do not describe advertising cookies or personalized advertising as part of the current OpenSkool experience.

Essential technology

Core delivery, security and form operation rely on browser features and network requests. The current application code does not intentionally set a separate essential cookie for these functions.

Analytics technology

Helps understand page visits and interactions so content, navigation and performance can be improved. What is collected depends on the measurement tags currently configured.

Third-party technology

Services used for hosting, email delivery or linked content may process technical information under their own policies when you interact with them.

Your controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and limit some tracking. Browser privacy settings, extensions and device controls may also reduce measurement. Blocking essential browser functions can affect forms or other features.

OpenSkool does not currently present a separate cookie-preference panel. The need for consent controls and a detailed tag inventory should be reviewed as analytics use and geographic reach develop.
