Report an error

Use the Contact page and identify the page, the statement you believe is wrong, why it may be inaccurate and any source that helps verify the issue. Clear, specific reports are easier to assess.

How a report is reviewed

• Check the wording in its full context and identify the underlying claim.
• Review the sources used and, where needed, consult current primary or authoritative material.
• Distinguish a factual error from a reasonable difference in interpretation or emphasis.
• Correct the page when the available evidence shows a meaningful error or omission.

When a correction may be noted

Small spelling, formatting or clarity edits may be made without a correction note when they do not change meaning. A material change to a consequential fact, conclusion or representation may be accompanied by a note describing what changed and when.

Corrections and editorial disagreement

A disagreement with an opinion is not automatically a factual correction. OpenSkool may still clarify an argument, add evidence or publish a well-supported counter-perspective when that improves the learning value.

Keeping important information accurate

We aim to revisit important information when a credible issue or meaningful change comes to our attention. We cannot promise that every page is continuously monitored, so reader reports are valuable.
